COTTAGECORE

IN DEVELOPMENT | PSYCHOSEXUAL THRILLER

A group of charismatic queer artists retreat to an idyllic country estate for an experimental intimacy workshop designed to strip away their inhibitions and deepen their connections. But when a member of their polycule disappears, jealousy, obsession and buried resentments fracture the group’s carefully constructed utopia, sending the retreat into increasingly violent territory.

Written and directed by Sonja O’Hara, COTTAGECORE is a darkly funny, psychosexual reimagining of the classic erotic thriller, exploring identity, objectification, envy and the dangerous space between wanting someone and wanting to become them.
